![]() ![]() ![]() We're committed to making sure that our IDE has the same feature set as the best editors in the market, so this is another step forward. This cost us feature-parity in the short-term but allowed us to prototype out some pretty great features and execute faster on new ideas in the long-term - like code-generation, boilerplating and more. We started out by building a lightweight editor and rendering engine on our own. Early on in the development of Autocode we knew we wanted the ability to have a lot of control over our own editor's API - the ambition was to add all the features you see today, including API autocomplete and more. Many online IDEs rely on open-source projects like Monaco or CodeMirror which come pre-baked with similar features. You can play around on the Autocode REPL or by modifying one of your Autocode projects.
